#24092 RE: daletwats #24084

Well, "that guy", I think the certs are for USDA approval of the MIT 1000, for E Coli, salmonella, listeria, etc. . The biggies are EColi and Salmonella certifications from the Dept of Ag. For the MIT 1000. That certification makes the MIT much more marketable to major beef and poultry producers. Once the USDA says, " yes, this machine works to our standards and is approved by us" any Co can feel more than comfortable purchasing the MIT and know that it has been approved by the same entity that is the food safety LAW. Therefore, the only hurdle remaining for MMTC will be gone. Then the Companies only have to weigh price and efficiency, and seeing as how the MIT wins in both regards,.... Well you can figure that out, as the market will also be able to.

I have heard that MMTC will apply for certification, this month or September, but I want to narrow that down, which is why I attempted to send an emailed request for progress UPdate, in that specific regard. I may have had wrong email address, but will find the answer one way or the other, and let you know.
