The Opus "settlement" deal was done because an Opus member, Miller, simply threatened to sue TIV over what he thought were inappropriate charges from the PV lawsuit costs, etc. I've never seen Working Interest owners, which Opus member are, not be charged their pro rata share of all costs and liabilities. And just because one of them, not even the biggest investor, or even close, complains about some minor over charges and threatens to sue TIV they hand them $32 million, which is desperately needed TIV income? Why not just give the guy back his money? $50K?

No wonder the CFO quickly split when that deal was cut. Or right before?
