I dis-agree Len

The super bowl is won by a single team/area

So all investors that happened to like that team would be happy and invest.
The followers of the other team would then be pissed and not want to invest
So what about the rest..
Not to mention the rest of the world, foreign investors, who couldn't even squeeze out a shit of care who wins the super bowl.
I personally watch it, and like it. But i'd wager that Asian central bank officals and saudi billionaires couldn't care less.
Unless they have a few bets riding
I'm not saying superbowl/market correlations aren't there
Other forces may be acting upon both
Everything happens for a reason

Back to the article,
To say planetary alignment, sunspots, protons, electrons etc don't have an effect on us is irrational human nature.
We aren't gods just yet.
These forces have a much larger effect then we know now
And they effect every one of us.
Not like a football game
A soccer game maybe ;o)

Also the track record

True the super bowl may correlate better with U.S stock markets

But these forces were effecting our planet long before we were here.
And these cycles have also been studied and used by all sorts of societies through-out our history
Eygptians, mayans, asians etc
