It runs around 107 or so. This is a concrete city so it magnifies that also....hot black top tar roads, concrete buildings.....hot cars running...few people walk here except on the strip....its just to hot. Laughlin runs 10 degress hotter than here....this is the desert, nothing grows but cacti....and there is a water shortage !! I live in hell.

I moved here from PA and actually love the heat. Funny thing is you never actually are in the heat much except walking to the car. In the casino's, restaurants, bars, movies, they all blast the air conditioning and you freeze..LOL. My wife has to carry a sweater every where.
I go to the movies at the palms and red rock almost weekly. Coming out of the movies always throw a 20$ in the poker machine.

Ate at the Hard Rock yesterday, Mr Luckys Cafe, and won 300$ on 20$ at the bar video poker. Walked out with 200$.

I actually love living in Vegas. I invest in the casino stocks because it's fun to invest in what you have an interest in.

In 2008 originally bought LVS at 3.50 and sold at 5.00 thinking I was smart. Sure wish I would of held it. Had MPEL at 4.00 last december around there, sold at 4.60, then it shot up! Everything is way up except MGM. Buying it today and holding for a few years would be great but I'm too impatient.

I trade some pennys also. Holding OPMG now because Justin Bieber is the company spokesman (kid) and is suppose to start pushing the product soon on talk shows. He owns shares of the company also.
