The investment world does not evolve around E-trade sorry to say. Yes E trade may be entirely electronic, which passes orders to market makers. Same goes for interactive, speedtrader etc - there are hundreds of others that don't use this type of platform in the US and, yes outside the USA too! $CAVR like other stocks get manipulated with these other brokers who can do it and trade for their own accord.
