Let them talk all they want, but base it on FACTS. Not promos that are not met.
Address how the sales have gone up over the last month in dollares. Make a post about how it is believed that they will continue to go up. But do not post numbers that are not obtained. That causes the spikes up and down. Just surpass the original amount and make that the history of the stock.

I do not like the history being that we do not reach the revised estimates.
