I wonder what else they receive from having adopted all those kids?

They didn't adopt them, they took them in as foster kids and more than likely she only kept them for a few weeks at a time. Since you're only allowed to have three foster children at a time, it stands to reason it was a very temporary situation. I think I read that she took them in as teenagers.
