It's just a shame this is happening right at a critical juncture - the shareholder call.

The good news is that this is just temporary and the performance of the company will override any short term trading issues.

If I were trying to get in today, though, I'd be pretty angry if my broker were that inept. Luckily, I have no problems with mine.

I've been through the same with ticker/name changes and use Scottrade also and that has been what it usually takes in the past is about 2-4 days. About the same as when you make a deposit and want to use those funds to trade in pennies. When it runs into taking a week or weeks before you can trade that is usually due to a reverse or forward split that has happened, which I've unfortunately have had to deal with in the past also on other stocks :(
Thankfully that is not the case here :)
