Actually it was so long ago I don't remember what in the share structure I liked. But PREFERRED STOCK SERIES A,b.c. or on doesn't change common share structure. And has no effect to a darkside play.

Preferred stock just says, legally the owner has a spot in the bankruptcy laws line, before common shareholders. Basically shareholders which take a long investment position can get stock which will be paid for, before common shareholders. Creditors get paid 1st, then series preferred, then common, with any cash left after bankruptcy. It's only a level of ptotection given for backing the company long. The shares normally can't be traded.
