Scragg, the inventor of the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine (DCGT) engine and founder of Alpha Engines Corporation, has received "Notification of Granting a Patent Right" by the PRC State Intellectual Property Office. Alpha Engines anticipates the issuance of the Patent Certificate and to receive it in the coming days. The translation and filing of the application was undertaken by the Chinese associates of Maryland based Patent Attorneys, Shoemaker and Mattare.
