WOW!!!

The DTCC suspend the chill from stocks in order to be able and complete settlement of stock transactions which had not settled yet.

LOT`S OF WORK in the case of RCCH... imho!

That answers my question on whether the lift was for all or just stuff that happened before brokers got it shut down. So no new transactions, meaning the chill is still on at least for TDA.

Thank you. That is exactly what the memorandum said would happen. Funny how the words get spun into something else altogether.

The DTCC suspend the chill from stocks in order to be able and complete settlement of stock transactions which had not settled yet. Unfortunately this still does not allow us to trade, transfer, or issue stock certificates on any stocks that are listed under the chill from the DTCC.

The suspension is for those who tried to transact stock AFTER the chill went into effect and therefore couldn't settle the transactions. Those are the 'aged fails' that everyone has blown out of proportion. No new transactions are allowed SO THERE CAN BE NO COVER.

The 'aged fails' are totally legitimate trades that were caught up in the timing of the chill and therefore couldn't be completed properly. They are being taken care of this week.

No cover, no shorts, no volume, no nothing. Just minor paperwork catching up with a few legitimate trades.

Can we stop the nonsense now?
