The facts speak clearly enough. A 630 ft tall and 1.5 mile wide dam. The largest open pit mine in the world. Trillions of gallons of toxic mine tailings. Foreign corporation. Versus the largest sustainable salmon fishery in the world. Pretty much a no-brainer. Oops, i forgot who i was conversing with. My bad.

Even worse. 11 billion tons of tailings. More than companies have experience dealing with. In the most remote environment any company has attempted to extract copper and gold from in a mine this size.
Two tailing lakes, four dams. 740 feet tall, 4.3 miles long. Larger than Washington's Grand Coulee Dam and China's Three Gorges. The pit - 2 miles wide, 2,000 ft. deep. A 90-mile road to transport slurry past Lake Illiamna to Cook Inlet. Power lines across Cook Inlet from Homer.$91 million dollars approved by Pebble's board for the permitting process.

This is nothing even remotely close to Red Dog and Donlin Creek, nor a similar habitat.

same kind of media slant that they throw at DC, i dont really think you can put much credibility in those kind of headlines
