So there must be an account they can draw from or they are confident enough that the pay day will come and the are still here.

I agree, if they really really needed money, they could PR some property and give it a pump and get some money, the IR is on a monthly payment program, or so it has been stated...

I have seen no proof that Jack Zwicker was anything more than a friend working with KATX. Show me some verifiable proof that Jack Zwicker was involved in any financing of KATX operations. You appear to be referring to Jack as being in a Financier's capacity without any proof.

PR about finding Rees, (really what the PR was about was they failed to find any copper that they were looking for, this was the start of the PPS tanking)

IMO, they mentioned REE's in an attempt to limit the damage to the pps due to the fact that only sub-economic copper was found. Copper was all the talk around here prior to the PR ("Olympic Dam"). Notice how copper talk has been rather limited here ever since.
