IF so it would have been wrong but not a major crime. And IMHO it would have been very understandable (although still wrong) to want to not issue a PR if the reason Dr. Kaplan pulled out was because of getting swamped with too many inappropriate questions from investors.

It is highly inappropriate to send emails directly to Scientific Advisory Board members who are consultants to the company and NOT to the investors. Most especially when sent to their place of primary employment.


Most people are well aware of the implications of getting swamped with outside communications having nothing to do with their employment at their place of employment and would object strenuously if it were being done to them.

Public companies have PR departments for a reason.

There are standards about what information companies owe to their public investors and what some on this board seek go absurdly beyond that. I'm beginning to think that one of the biggest advantages of being a high dollar stock on the major exchanges is that you get a higher class of investors.
