Fly fisherman are very environmentally connected. They tend to be wealthy, from out of state (so they don't care about jobs and economic development) and very motivated to fight development that could hurt even the smallest fishing stream. Fly fisherman and their organizations have fought quite a few mines in Montana and other states, and they have spoken out about BG development.
