Nothing I have read suggests that there is anything seasonal about Vancocin, and I doubt that it is.

I don't know much anything except if it was seasonal seems rather late in season to increase drug price.

cliff, My wife is a registered nurse at the local hospital and she said C-Diff is up 30% this year at that hospital and I would guess that is true of most hospitals. They think that the germ that causes it is airborne so it is very hard to control. We already know that April sales of Vancocin were $10.1 mil. I would think that May and June would be similar. That is almost a 45% increase over the first quarter. This along with insider buying on the open market with hard earned money and not 50 cent options says a lot. I thought that VPHM could get to the $30's next year. Maybe that is conservative. If Shering Plough gets FDA approval for the nasal spray for the common cold, VPHM could be a $40 or $50 stock next year.
