Techbear, well said! No need in 2nd guessing here, as lowtrade said in an earlier post, we need more data, we are new to amex. Someone accumulated alot of shares yesterday, the pps went down to accomodate this buy. Folks, this is not your "normal" stock that you have seen for years listed on one of the exchanges. Unlike other stocks who have a breakthrough of new technology every now and then,GTE has alot that has not even been brought to the table. I urge all the weak kneed folks to look between the lines, take a look at the new company and its owner that just joined us. Did you happen to notice who they said they are competing against? BELLS AND CABLE OPERATORS. When you look at TA, it reflects the actual price movement on a day to day basis. Does TA know what we just aquired a company? It reflects a blip in price to say, hey, we just brought someone on board. Does TA realize the upside potential of this aquisition? NO! You have to ask yourself, are you here for the long run, is that why you invested? Or was it to flip and make a few bucks with no underlying knowledge of the company? Did you flip a few and start to understand the company and now want to be long and cant cope with a drop in pps? There are many here who read and understand the TA of stocks. Is TA performing like we thought? NO, its not, why? In my opinion, its because there is alot of accumulation going on, its dropped to accomodate.I also believe we are being shorted. I also think the people who put in stop losses got stopped out and are now out.
As everyone has seen, this move over to amex has been volatile. Was anyone expecting anything less?
