#12217 RE: Hole shot King #12213

Not really! ProElite and Strikeforce have many ties and to be honest for the longest time I have looked at Strikeforce as a place holder for ProElite!

Not to take away in that there were some moves and some things Strikeforce had done fundamentally that were solid moves but Strikeforce as we know it today was largely built out of ProElite property and now ProElite is taking back it's place and position within the industry it helped to build.

In my opinion ProElite will grow to be bigger, stronger and better than it ever was competing at the highest levels and is already off to a great start with a fantastic Fight Card, a News Conference, a New Commercial and a New Web Site as well as plans for more Events this year aside from a full year of Events already in the works for 2012, major discussions underway with the biggest fighters in the industry and TV and other Broadcast Deals in the works, essentially pushing aside would be contenders while making sound business decisions doing it. Sounds like money to me and lots of it!

Let me throw something else into the mix, lets be realistic there is a debate to be made that Strikeforce sold out knowing it had already a mix of low level competitors biting at their feet and solid competition coming in the form of ProElite with many of Strikeforce's key possessions in form of Contracts and License agreements ProElite had previously owned!

In my opinion the UFC bought Strikeforce out of fear as is well documented by many News outlets that ProElite was already in discussions to buy Strikeforce as it was, but make no mistake about it I get no sense nor is there any indication that ProElite and Stratus Media were even phased with the UFC's purchase of Strikeforce as they were already making moves to push back into the industry in big way and there key plans were well underway with their only intent in looking at Strikeforce for acquisition being if they could buy them at a reasonable price great and if not they were on route to emerge as the next big player in the industry!

Go ProElite!
