The sad part is that a lot of companies are starting to learn to make their profits utilizing technologies in place of head count. This world recession is shifting a lot of things and I am not sure even if things do turn for the better that companies will hire more; why should they if they are hitting their numbers?
What we need is to get America back to entraprenuership, innovation and a burning desire to create cutting edge products/services/procceses, or we will continue to loose ground to China, Japan, etc..
