Thats where we disagree. Profits are not small as a reseller.
Building a Colo would cost 25 Million, purchasing and existing one would cost that and pay for the revenues already coming through for 2 years. Might be true on Educ software, I dont know what software development costs, but I know Colo's.
We just bought one and we have built several. The one we bought was a bargain at 20 million because we allowed the current Opertions group to take the first floor and continue to operate. We jsut wanted the 2nd and 3rd floor as well as the existing redundent power systems and network connections. Unfortunatly , ours is simply a spur off of 2 large tier one carriers. This particular "reseller" as you put it got all their initial investment after 2 years and still do 10 Million per year. They originally bought space in that building and bought the Colo 2 years ago. They are now building another site. ( with our money , LOL)
