I kinda felt sorry for Pres Obama today for thinking anyone believes him now when he says, "we'll need a balance approach to balancing the budget".
McConnell said today that any chance of tax increases passing with the appointees he and Boehner will put on the "super committee" is non-existant.
btw, part of the teabagger's deal that Obama signed off on says if the "super committee" comes up with any revenue raising, it can be filibustered, while tax cuts cannot be filibustered...and the wars in Afghan and Iraq are not covered by any caps in spending.
WHO in their right mind would sign on to such a deal???
