Sounds like the debt ceiling bill is going over like a lead balloon, given the Dow 's 226 point decline and gold's record surge. The entire "crisis" was orchestrated, right down to the self-imposed deadline, the day before obama leaves for his huge birthday bash in Chicago, and the 24/7 fear-mongering by the MSM regarding the "looming default". There was ZERO chance of a default on bondholder interest, or even social security payments. The American people and the GOP were snookered again.
