I bet if we were able to dig far enough, there is a shelf of solid gold under the Earths crusts.
Just to give some perspective. If you were able to drill a hole down to the center of the Earth and jumped in like a sky diver, it would take more than 36 hours of falling till you hit botton. That at 9' per second. Newtons law and the size of this turd ball spinning in space.
