For clarification purposes, the current NIJ Cert specification is at 'version' 6 ie NIJ-06. Within the certification process there are various levels indicated by Roman numeral. . . sometimes with a lower case letter ie II, IIIa, IV and so on. These levels are known as 'threat levels.

I made that mistake early on and was corrected so that the discussion[s] would not be confusing. . . at that time there was a transition from NIJ-05 to NIJ-06

Depending on what BORK has made their application for and test results indicate, we likely won't know what the official certification will be.

We can however anticipate what those results might be by looking at the 4th sticky note that Gotmilk put together for us.
