No, that was not my claim. I said "If I'm not mistaken". If I am mistaken you've provided nothing to disprove it. Maybe you're right, not worth arguing because my main point was that even if nobody like China steps up to buy treasuries the Fed can always buy then and further dilute the money supply. Why would the Fed care what interest rate they get paid?
