I am not sure the writing on the wall says exactly what you think it does. The company announced the Reverse Stock Split and said things have changed but there Reverse Stock Split is part of the agreement with YAGI so they can dilute whenever they want to (up to 280 billion shares!). I am not as quick as you to place good faith in their claims of change. IMO

It may indeed "gotta" tell me something... Om the other hand maybe that's just the timing of it with no other agenda. I'm afraid I don;'t invest based on blue sky thinking and spurious connections. I try to apply what I know to the numbers and your numbers just don't work.
