The motion was granted a few days later and the case dismissed.

This is the interesting line......

Debtors believe that the best course of action is for their bankruptcy cases to be dismissed to allow their creditors to exercise their state court remedies against the Debtors and the patents.

Did the creditors bother to go to state court to go after the patents ? That would be a key piece of info.

Delaware corporations doing business in SC so what state ?

Seems they owed out about $5mm when they filed.
