I agree. In fact I believe that this model (sort of) has worked with AOL. I never have nor will use AOL as a service. However, I believe the AOL Keyword function has been a big selling point for AOL users. The difference with the GotoWindow is that corporations will BUY the right to have that keyword/phrase/upc code/whatever go directly to their site.

This will be completely unlike any other search engine. With Yahoo and Google you don't know who has paid to get their search results put near the top of the list. With the GotoWindow informed users will come to NEOM so that they can get to what they want and not have to wade thru the BS.

If you are looking for a specific product, company etc you can use the GotoWindow to save time and money. This will really be beneficial to people using their laptop via a WiFi connection when they have to pay for the usage and the ease of use.

The majority of internet users still use dial-up. Why wait for the 10 or 20 or 30 search results to come up when you can get the information right from the gotowindow. Saves time money etc.

JUST HAD AN EPIPHANY: What if you did a google or yahoo or MSN search and near the top in the header or a sidebar that presents the user with the option to use the GotoWindow. Selling point for NEOM to the big boys? Also, more visibility for NEOM and also more clicks for the big search engines.

Lesnshawn:

I say this is the way WordRegistry should work on Internet. You open browser, and there will be a "GoWindow" right next to the usual address bar. Put in a web address in the address bar, or use the GoWindow to go right to a site. Better than having to first go to a unique web site.

You Said
"Re: WordRegistry...why can't it apply to the internet for computer use, not only mobile use? It most certainly can and is right now through the NeoMedia website demonstration which now has actual live links on it.

If one can type in keywords in the "GoWindow" on the NeoMedia website, why wouldn't that be applied directly to it's own, unique website that would then, in a sense, be another portal for folks to go, to directy link them to where the owner of the word, tradmarked or not, wants them to go. "
