IMO Market Makers are starting to cover.
As an example,last friday when ETMM was on the assk with 4000 at .509 I put an order in for 4900 to round out my position,after a few minutes ETMM went to something like .56 then top bid at .509 and filled 4000.ETMM covered a short by making it a sell. And I called my guy at Etrade and told him his order desk is dumb cuz it will be reported,they can't jump around like that.
