OT: AAPL etc.

Yes, AAPL is also one of my core holdings. I fully expected a break of $400 today, but oh well, guess we can wait a little longer. This is clearly a $500 stock, patiently waiting for a forward split to unlock some value BIDU style.

I am also fully loaded with QCOM now. Earnings today after the close, and with AAPL's lead we can pretty safely assume a very good quarter for QCOM as well. We'll see how that works out later today.

MSFT and ORCL should also do well. However, MSFT stock has been a CSCO-type of failure for the past 10 years, no point in owning it. I'm quite happy with my AMBO, though. They are partnering with MSFT in China, stock just broke $7 again, from below $5 just three weeks ago.

Andrew... just found this snippet here:

With $76 billion in "cash" (or cash equivalents and securities), Apple has enough money in the bank to purchase Goldman Sachs at its current market value ... and still have change left over to buy LinkedIn and Twitter. Seriously.

Has there ever been a public company in corporate history that has accumulated that much cash?
