Kun...I wasn't expecting an 'answer'...
I only submitted that question as a suggestion for inclusion in their upcoming webcast. Hopefully, they'll address this all-important issue...the out-of-balance 'share structure'.
I don't know that "they are losing money all the time" , as you put it. They don't have any revenue , true , but I'm not sure that describing their operating status as simply 'losing money' is a fair characterization. To 'my' mind , I would think that a more accurate description would be to think of their 'development-stage' ops as being 'well-funded' thru grants & the support of 2 universities & that those funds are 'intended to be spent' for that purpose...as such , it really doesn't constitute a 'loss'. Beyond that ; I have no idea how they might go about paying for a 'share buy-back'...perhaps w/ a little help from some of their deep-pockets friends , of which , they have many. I was just throwing that out there as the investor-preferred option to the far-less-desirable option of doing a nasty R/S.
As far as getting something to market to generate revenues asap ; of their multi-faceted endeavors , the VG algae tech has the best chance of being the 1st to produce revenues (if successful). They say it will be another 2 or 3months to finish-up their testing & presumably prove their worth. That is w/out a doubt , far less time than any of their medical apps will require. Algae has a +/-2month seed-to-harvest growing cycle but how many cycles they have planned before proof-of-concept is acheived , I have no idea (perhaps that same 2 or 3months). All I know is that , if successful[?] , their algae tech could be the revolutionary break-thru that many have been awaiting (& worth a bundle at that)...as long as they do something to get that bloated share structure back in line.
