MM's control the marketplace and prices.
The one thing they are notorious for is walking it down for no apparent reason...except to short sell the stock. One reason why it is so hard to chart lower market stocks. Because of the extra manipulation that goes on.
They induce weak investors to let go in fear of losing their stake. Some sell to protect their profits. But nevertheless, if they do not recognize what is happening and also did not do any dd on the investment, they will panic and sell out.
MM's are also known to inventory their trading stock. Therefore short selling is rampant at times especially before major news is about to come out. And in this case, we are expecting major news.... so hang on and be patient...
Don't let the MM's action shake you out... this will move in due time.
