#170257 RE: ActivClient #170256

Eric dropping the bad news blog on the day he did was done because HE wanted to drop it on THAT day...for whatever reason...and I can assure you...it wasn't because he was "methodically" setting a plan in motion to drop Good News at a later date...I mean that is pure rubbish...

I agree.

The reason he 'probably' knew the answer on the same morning 'could be' that he took a pro-active approach and called them that day. To get a Yes or No on (immediate shelf) and got the answer no, 'not now', but the relationship is all there as it was and 'growing' imo (not lightening fast like a PR on national rollout might be lol) - cordial and professional...and can move on with various 'business'.

I expected both quite frankly to do a more regional rollout first anyways; makes more business sense to me for Lowes to roll out to like couple states and gauge interest in larger sample then 3 stores in remote Ohio (although I believe the numbers are good there and if good there, one might expect them to be better at 'better' stores imo). A large rollout in OH, IN, MI, PA makes sense to me; but I'm not Lowes. Would give better 'internal' projection on products potential (larger population results likely more accurate when multiplied out to remaining stores)

I've seen other product(s) recently out of Canada (Ontario) get in to like 14 states and 227 of Lowes stores, so a similar path may be possible.

The courtship with both is 'still good' imo, just not getting married to shelf fully - yet lol

--------

Potential with Do It Best is very good imo; especially in similar surrounding states (very strong in Midwest imo) - so obtaining 800 stores (many owners have more then one store by the way) and selling on average 1 large bottle a day, for twelve months is still approx. $1.3 million in revenue to WNBD (800 stores x 1 bottle x 30 days x 12 months x $4.50 wholesale). Happy with half that? Double existing revenue of $550k+? Even one-fourth of that is 50%+ growth over prior year.

Solid footing in these stores will build customers and awareness of product imo (easier to advertise for - I see Do It Best commercials all the time for various products); which should more successfully ultimately tip Lowes/HD because they likely wait for 'greater interest overall' to pick up. And WNBD still progresses on that 'road/route' imo..with all its bumps, roadblocks, pitfalls, etc.
