#118182 RE: Artiztic1 #118157

These are your words"

65 x 30 = 1950sq' add 12' lane for plastic travel and 12' storage along the opposite wall, 24 x 65 = 1560sq' + 1950 makes a total of 3510 total sq' per processor....

...My point is for a cluster of only 3 processors this is going to require a company/JV to have 10,000sq' of unused empty space just sitting idle(not likely).

You realize that the photo's you've shown only display about a third of the floor space available in that building. I'm also concerned you are not taking the word of the company and many posters who have actually been to the factory including myself. It can be argued that the measurements you are using are arbitrary and not in line with what others have and will report.

Please factor these points into your discussion.

You are not aware of what parts can be shared by other processors which would reduce the space needed for each processor significantly.

You have to include the fact that storage of plastic is in another building and that this is not a problem with partners who are either already producing waste plastic or already have facilities to receive and store plastic. These companies also don't have to use space to store plastic destined for landfill, it is processed into fuel (and stored outside) which again makes it far easier to find space for the processors. Take a look at any recycling facility, they have plenty of ceiling and floor space once storing landfill bound plastic is not needed.

Any alterations or additions to a partners building can easily be paid for out of money the companies already have in their yearly budgets to transport and landfill waste plastic and they would be happy to do so as after the processors are in place that budgeted money goes towards company profits.

I'm amazed at how long a discussion can be fueled by an estimation of insulation panels.
