Mayor of Bladensburg issues letter of intent to partner with SAVW. The mayor plans to put 4-5 eco-poles up on its new generation green parking facility and potentially install 100 eco-poles over the next 2 years all over the town. “
“The creation of this partnership will develop an eco-hub bring about well over 25 jobs in about the Town of Bladensburg community, as well as spur on economic development in the local region”
SAVW will be installing an eco-pole at the Washington DC Department of Transportation and at the State University at Stony Brook in Long Island. SAVW announced they will be manufacturing 5,000 eco-poles over the next 12 months. A major selling point for eco-poles besides the amount of energy they save is that they don’t require any hard-wiring, so no connection to a grid by running conduit and expensive wiring.
SAVW received overwhelming interest at the biggest lightfair in the world. As a result over 100 service providers and electrical supply distributors signed up for partnerships each with a MINIMUM $100,000 commitment. SAVW projects over 10 Million dollars in revenue the next 12 months. I’m assuming some distributors will have more than $100,000 deals. SAVW prebooked their bigger space at the Lightfair 2012 in VEGAS.
SavWatt has formed a European Subsidiary which will be based in the UK, SavWatt Europe, Inc. managed by Miller Mays and Javier Herrero. SavWatt Europe will market SavWatt Energy Efficient LED Light Bulbs and Fixtures in the European community. Europeans are far more progressive on LEDs. SavWatt has signed partnerships and distributions agreement with two Korean companies, KEC Enercom (www.koreaenercom.com) and Solarluce (www.solarluce.com) for distribution of their LED products. Both companies are leaders in Korea with government backing. SavWatt's Baltimore Eco Hub, a 21,000 square foot facility is under construction with a target completion date of June 10.
