How do they get the shares BEFORE trading starts?
and at what price? the previous closing price?

if so, watch them as they buy/sell to themselves to walk down the price later today. Actually easier for them since we're not allowed to trade it ourselves.

They're pros(NITE), they know how to get out of this. I'm sure it's happened before.

Yep probably! No coincidence that ST was the 1st to block..NITE is their MM. Crooked system.
