As one of those who has talked about dilution and therefore stands accused of "negativity", I would love nothing more than for the facts to show that it has not occurred.
What I urge is realism when it comes to CGFIA or any other stock. I still think that CGFIA has potential otherwise I'd be out of the stock and would not be posting to this board.
But what I do find problematical is when there is a tendency to spin everything to make it as positive as possible. Suggestions that CGFIA might be a $1-$5 stock is living in a fantasy land based on what we know about the company, its properties and its outstanding shares. Unless the price of gold sky rockets, it is not going to happen. One does not make projections based on the POG sky-rocketing from where we are today.
Frankly,if the SP reached 1c a year from now, I'd be pleased because the return on investment from where we are today would be pretty spectacular.
Attempts to explain every decline in the stock as being the result of market manipulation or stops being triggered is as much speculation as suggestions that we are seeing dilution. MM manipulation is one of the most over-used excuses on penny stocks. I am not naive enough to think it does not happen but becomes tedious when it is used as the rationale to explain every stock decline. Ever notice that MM manipulation is never suggested when the price is going up?
The greatest service that we can do ourselves and new investors is to maintain a degree of realism about every facet of the company and its prospects - it does not raise expectations unduly and does not result in people feeling let down.
