Granted, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to run a better scam that this one, but even with that Newton has everyones money and all the investors have more stock certificate toilet paper than they can use in a lifetime. If he got all their money and they got nothing, why does everyone keep calling HIM an idiot?

After all if you were going to run the scam what would you have done different?
