#2716 RE: Flatcat #2715

Flatcat, if kryron is superior to every other armor plate on the books - would the Army/Marines/DoD make that the new standard?

How does that work - if a product is superior in weight, strength, durability than any existing armor?

Bad bad illustration but say all armor was made from iron (going back a lot of years) and someone new comes on the scene with steel. Would the DoD/military then make "steel" the new standard?

Flatcat I worked for a DoD company and I've been watching many of these posts for months; most people don't realize the excruciating details that a DoD contractor has to go through to actually get a product out the door. You have made some excellent references here; I would hope that BORK would begin to hire professionals with experience in government and DoD contracts. This expertise is certainly required with Bork's Management Team.
