Hi Bruce

I had heard about ENER for years. Their technology looks great but my own impression is that they are not very good at turning it into profits. I also got the impression that the company exists for the benifit of the founder. I also heard the same about the management of Canondale (BIKE)

Take the above with a grain of salt as I am not someone who can get any rational meaning out of an annual report which is why I am gradually moving my account for the most part to Exchange Traded Funds (I-Shares in particular)

By the way in my post I was looking for not just solar or energy companies but any company that produces a product or service that you could feel good about owning that you could say is better for the world because it exists.

Organic food company? HAIN
Steel company? NUCOR (uses all recycled steel)
Any public windmill companies out there?
Non-hybred seed company?

I read a book recently called "Eco Economy" that puts forth four main chalanges for human life on earth and the enviroment.

1)Fresh Water
2)Food Suply
3)Carbon based energy production (global warming)
4)Population

They are all interrelated and affect each other.
