Yeh, but if we are going to be true to the metaphore, then we can not get around the finger of God skratching out the laws governing going forward in this puppy, regardless of how the "people" get themselves onto the wrong path and regardless of how outraged the man JB is when he comes down from the mountain top and lays eyes on the errant masses of formerly faithful wilderness travelers.
