Do you or anyone close to you have experience with these procedures? Maybe you shouldn't be so quick to have an opinion until you do. A friend recently had fat cells injected into cheeks and lips - similar to LaViv in that is is your own genetic material, not fillers. It costs $5,000. In this type of procedure using fat cells, the fat cells hopefully form their own blood cells and transplant themselves into the area, plumping up areas for a long time, eliminating the frequent visits for fillers. The removal of the fat cells requires pain medication. LaViv is different, of course, in that it encourages one's own skin to plump and grow collagen, but similar concept. It will also be used in other areas such as cheeks, lips and other wrinkled areas of the face, not just nose-to-mouth laugh lines. nasal-labial,(but can't spell it)
