Maybe the heating coil heats up to 302 degrees but the air passing through the nano filter doesn't have to be that temperature to transfer nicotine.? Makes you think you could just suck the nicotine out like a smokers option. Don't know. Need an explanation!

I think the coil heats the Nicotine to higher potential thereby making it easier to transfer itself into the air stream. Kind of plug in fresheners, add some heat and they really start to give off odor. The heats aids in transfer of the nicotine solution.

The coil on my device gets hot. I can distinctly feel warm air through my filter (not hot, but warm). After taking 4 puffs or so, if I flip the filter around, the other end is quite warm and is really nice to puff on.

I posted an issue with my device when I took it to work. I had it in a case with filters and the charger and I started puffing at my desk. It wasn't getting hot and I was kinda sad, thought it had broken or overheated. I took a stick of pencil led and gently prodded the coil and it worked. I haven't had a problem since. Before I had done this I contacted CS and Ken sent me an email back ~20 minutes later and told me I could send it back for a replacement, he apologized for any inconvenience. I felt bad because I wasted his efforts as my REAL worked 5 minutes later...

My point is, Pauly, maybe your device isn't heating properly. I will note this: if you puff on the device WITHOUT a filter it doesn't seem as hot. However, with the filter if you seal the airflow with your tongue it can be quite hot. I have almost burnt myself by doing this.

Take the filter off. Hit it quickly, and then press your finger against the coil(also quickly)...
