#41458 RE: quest54 #41455

quest54 first allow me to express my thanks for obtaining some answers to questions I posed.

With respect to cost structure I am no expert in internet platform business endeavors. However, it is my understanding that many sites are funded by advertising revenue, some sites charge membership or subscription fees, other sites charge for particular services. These are not mutually exclusive. Some sites have tiered membership such as silver, gold, platinum with more services/products available at higher memberships.

So the question to me is how does Ron envision BIZZs.com with respect to generating revenue--is it through ads, membership fees or depending on the purchase of certain site services or benefits? With respect to costs, there is of course the cost of software maintenance, servers, security and personnel to run the operation at the least.

I am a member of both LinkedIn and Plaxo. Neither one costs me anything. Ron talks about a more sophisticated business networking site. I for one would like a better understanding of the costs and revenue associated with this endeavor which will help me decide if I think it has a chance of being profitable.

I do not understand or support Ron's hard line approach to keeping shareholders updated. It equates to, "I'll let you know when there is something I have to say." It does not feel like an approach that understands or appreciates shareholder concerns.
