If the A29 is used by US military and built in US, then there will be a lot of A29s used all over the world.
And like they said, it is a plane in which you train so there will be lots of training as well as mission activity.
But it has to happen. The video sounds like they (FL and NV) are trying to make it happen.
Hopefully, the 800# gorilla (US military) decides to go along. The mention of "lets not reinvent the wheel" suggests someone is promoting a competing aircraft unfortunately. There are a number of "competing" aircraft built by a number of manufacturers including Boeing. NONE of them have the range of the A29 nor compare favorably. But companies like Boeing have a way of getting the ear of the military and may convince them to let them improve their design to compete with the A29. I don't know if Embraer is trying to "horn in" on the US military business or whether it has already been welcomed. The US military is notorious for not doing business with someone outside the "old boy" network even if it meant going to war with inferior equipment.
