That's all very good but where do you suppose the data comes from that provides the SS and Technicals that you invest on?

The Share Structure and technical analysis you talk of come from data generated by the CEO. To that extent would it not make sense to know the CEO and the company?, That is if one is investing in the company. If one is merely day trading the stock, then you are correct, there is no good or bad company, just good and bad trades. IMO.
