You're confused. Turtles is being rolled out slowly, aka limited release. By the time it picks up speed and is in 200+ theaters, we won't need to worry about Cars 2 as it will have been in theaters for a good month.

lol I've been waiting to hear this comparison. Surprised it took so long. Cars 2 opening on thousands of screens vs. Turtle: The Incredible Journey opening on 5 screens. If Turtle: The Incredible Journey makes more than Cars 2 opening weekend.... not only will TDGI go "to the moon" someone from Walt Disney Pictures is getting fired...

There is not some limit on the number of films people will see. Box office receipts are dynamic, and if people are interested they wil see the film. Lastly, Turtles really isn't competing against Cars 2. Cars 2 will open in 3,900 theaters+, compared to 20 for Turtles. There is no comparison to be made between the two.
