I Know what you mean. Granted, they don't own the building, but they are renovating it. It could be current code they have to meet.

Could have something to do with the use of that space in the given room. As someone else said, it likely is a code issue. Also I'm not sure these are even our costs. A lot of landlords will cover remodeling costs for tenants, depending on the leases they sign. We aren't paying any rent until February 2012, so perhaps those costs are covered by the property owner.

One reason could be that SAVW is on the top floor and this insulation might be for Heating and A/C savings down the road. Were a Green company, I am sure they have many Green products throughout.
