This is where the speculation comes in. The company has not announced a buyer for the black sands and I am not sure that they have found a suitable one yet. The purchase of this new equipment leads me to believe the company plans on living off the gold revenue for now, until they locate a decent buyer for the sands. I think they will be pulling most of the gold from the sands and selling it as such and keeping the rest of the valuables stockpiled.
If the company does not have a buyer for the sands yet it is ok IMO. As long as we continue to stockpile it and seek a buyer it can be almost considered a type of 'unrealized gains'.
On a side note the company has not announced a buyer for the gold yet either, but gold buyers are easy to come by...so I guess it could indicate that there are buyers for both but the company will wait to announce until the first deal is made. Or it could indicate that the company assumed finding a gold buyer was easy enough and did not warrant an announcement. Who knows? This is the speculative area...
