These are my sentiments exactly. It is such a simple problem to fix. Try this: take the center out of the filter and drag. The battery will activate every time. The sensor is quite sensitive, but the filter blocks too much of the air.

Also try this: when taking a drag, take a strong short drag, sort of like hitting a joint. Then drag as normal. The initial hard intake will activate the sensor, and once it's on it stays on for a second and you can use this time to take a normal drag. I agree that they need to fix this ASAP. You will find that when you use it for a time that you get used to it and it works much better. I don't think there should be a learning curve for this sort of product though..
